Tuva Ta Da

For my Year of Projects update this week, cast your mind back a month or so and you may recall the agonizing experience I had with those evil dpn's ....... welllllllll I'm so happy to let you know that the Tuva is done - yipeeeeeeee !!!!!!!

Now isn't that something? Thank you Nola for finishing it off for me - without your help this would have remained a NEUFO (never ending unifnished object). Speaking of never ending things, I'm currently trying to complete something but I'm working with a never ending ball of wool. Hope to show you the finished object in a day or so. Its nothing to get 'jump up and down' excited about but will keep someone very warm.

Spring has sprung here in Australia and its lovely to see all the blossoms and wattle trees around our city. I think I may get apricots on our tree this year (no fruit last year for some strange reason) .. but if the blossoms are any indication ..

Oh, and have a look at these little beauties.

These are just a few of the tomatoes in my AeroGarden so I hope we'll be enjoying them soon.

I'm not sure if its Fathers Day in other countries but if so I hope all the Dad's have a great day. There have been two very special Dad's in my life and today I reminisced about some of the wonderful times we had together. I miss both these beautiful people very much ..

Thank you for visiting and I wish you all a happy week doing what you enjoy best.

  1. Lovely hat! Spring is definitely springing, if your year is anything like ours, our fruit trees have been hanking with fruit and I've been making jam, last year we had very little too, so maybe it is an indication of your year to come being better.

  2. I love the hat. Great color and pattern.

We are so far past spring here but still hot as all get out. It is fun to hear about other places around the world and how their seasons are so different from here at my home.

  4. Father's Day in the US is in June but I love that it's different times in different countries because it reminds us again of all the wonderful Father's in the world.

I loved your post today. Lots of wonderful things.

  7. Great hat! The colour is lovely.

And lucky you going into Spring now, as there is a definite chill in the air here and the mornings are getting darker too :-( Am consiling myself with the thought of cosy autumnal knitting in a warm well-lit house!

  8. Lucky you with spring and summer still to come! I love autumn but it is sad to see everything finishing here when it was only starting such a short time ago.

  10. great post, my tomatoes did very well this year and wold have canned into great sauce, but everyone enjoyed then too much fresh to make too much of it. My berries were new plants so they didn't do much. Love your hat, it's a fantastic color.

  11. Congrats on finishing the hat. It's so hard to push through something when you don't have tools you like using.
Enjoy what will hopefully be lovely spring weather.

  12. Lovely hat! Well done. We are sliding into Autumn here, and I am not enjoying the sun going down earlier each day--makes it hard to get a walk in after work! Enjoy your trees and your season of new beginnings.
