Looky Looky - Lucky Me

A few weeks ago I entered a blog give-away at One Yarn After Another and was fortunate enough to be the lucky winner of this gorgeous yarn ....

It arrived today and is so soft and will be perfect for making something for a certain little man who will be entering the world in about 6 weeks time. I haven't seen this yarn before and am looking forward to searching around for a nice pattern to use. Thank's so much for this give-away Bev - it was such a thrill to win.

    1. Awww ... thanks Teresa. Have to laugh about the 'tiny' grandson ...... DD is getting a little panicked as his growth scans are indicating he's quite a big fellow. This is her first baby. :)

  5. Hi , I found you whilst blog hopping from Teresa Kasner's blog, how exciting to win a giveaway :) And what a gorgeous striking colour of yarn, I've used a similar colour in some red, white and blue bunting.

Its always exciting to find a new bloggy friend and after just spending ages trawling through your blog, I'm most definately going to add yours to my blog list. I'm inspired and actually motivated by emeraldcottage so I hope we can become good friends across the miles. Have a lovely weekend. xox (from Australia)

    1. Hi Pat .. Yes, that yarn is gorgeous - there's 150g and its an 8ply equivalent so I'm hoping to have enough for a little 3-6mth size jacket. You're right, the excitement is mounting here with only about 6 weeks to go before our new little man arrives. I've only made one bib but am concentrating on getting a 'coming home' jacket and blanket finished for him.
