At $7.50 it was more than a bargain and I'm almost certain its made in wool as its quite heavy and has that wool look and feel. Measures 40 inches x 36 inches and has 90 little squares. There's not a thing wrong with it either so I'm very happy.
Have a great weekend everyone. I think I'm going to have a bit of a read-a-thon this weekend. xox
I am amazed at the price :-):-) so pretty too.. How is it crocheted together. Reminds me of a lolly :-):-) wet here today..great for crafting :-):-) hugs Pat:-):-)
ReplyDeletePat, for the life of me I cannot work out how this is joined together. At first I was thinking whip stitched but on closer inspection, there seems to be a single strand of yarn going straight along the stitches. Now you've got me wondering :)
DeleteHello my friend! What a score on that afghan! Did you read my blog.. I told you all about my camera that you asked about. I bet you need a nice quiet weekend after the wedding and all. Enjoy it. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteYou should be happy with that find. It's a goodie. I immediately thought of peas, carrots, and corn! Ha-ha. (I just came from a vegetarian's blog so maybe that's why my mind went to veggies immediately!) Someone would be very happy to know you took it home.
ReplyDeleteha ha Pammy Sue, you need to get your mind off food !! :) xox
